I quote this often in videos and posts so why not one more time:
Everything is energy!
You are energy and energy incase you weren't aware is limitless.
It can be shaped, changed, increased or decreased but it's power and potential are immeasurable.
Take for example that a single lightning bolt unleashes five times more heat than the sun which if you asked, most people would say it is the ultimate source of heat.
Lightning, one of nature's most powerful forces that is created by electrical imbalances between storm clouds and the ground is caused when the two areas equalize themselves to create an electrical discharge that lights up the sky in the form of a sheet or bolt.
When lightning bolts are released into the atmosphere they can superheat the air to nearly 30,000°C, a massive five times hotter than the sun.
Want another statistic to demonstrate the power of it?
The power unleashed by lightning bolts when they strike is equivalent to detonating a TON of TNT.
We know that the sun is the most powerful source of constant energy in the universe. It sends 430 quintillion Joules of energy to the Earth every single hour.
That's 430 with an additional 18 zeroes tagged on to the end of it. Harnessing 60 minutes worth of this energy and we would have enough energy to power the Earth for an entire year!
Bet that makes you question your power bills even more now?!
The word 'energy' is derived from the ancient Greek word 'energeia' which was created by Aristotle in 384 BC. While it has no direct translation in English the word describes a "state of being at work." and that is exactly what energy is - constantly at work.
While energy facts are typically associated with electricity, power, and speed, food is also a form of chemical energy that gives all living organisms the ability to grow, repair and reproduce. This form of energy is generally measured in calories or joules. Chemical energy is released into the body during digestion and converted into mechanical energy or heat. We simply, without giving it a second thought take one form of energy and change it into something else. We are designed to do so.
Energy is measured, labelled and stored in various ways, but it is not at all what we consider a "material substance" however it can be converted directly into matter.
Energy is needed to produce enzymes, contract and move muscles, and carry electrical impulses between our cells that tell our body how to function.
As we grow we start to teach ourselves varying beliefs that often affect or interfere with how effective our bodies can function. Take for example the studies done on the "placebo effect". If we believe we have take something that will help us there is a high chance that the physical benefits will be seen and felt even if the actual "medicine" was not administered.
Our minds take in the information that healing substance has been ingested and starts to heal our bodies accordingly.
Now of course this isn't perfect or all the time but a simple example of how our thoughts can allow our bodies to function.
In our daily lives we use energy for everything we do from driving, working online, and keeping our houses at a certain temperature to watching television and lighting up our streets and businesses at night with artificial light. We don't often give these things a second thought either.
Even when we are not paying attention to it, energy is present, and it's working in so many different ways. Sometimes we are in control of it and other times not. Even when we don't realize it.
When energy is “used,” it is not being destroyed, it is merely being transferred to from one state/form to another.
One of the big things talked about these days is manifestation. Manifestation involves using the laws of the universe and energies to create the life you desire or bring things into your life that you want.
According to the top "manifestation guru's" or teachers there are many important elements involved in the attracting of your desire but the #1 key to manifesting is to cultivate the energy of what you want to experience.
Cultivating or creating the energy of what you want is crucial because manifesting happens on the energetic level.
Many teachers of manifestation tell students to use vision boards and perform daily affirmations however, more experienced "teachers" will teach their students that the end results are more ultimately about your energy.
When our energy vibrates at a low level, we end up attracting low-level circumstances even when we don't intend or want too. But when our energy is in a high vibration, we attract positive outcomes.
This is why I often talk in videos or posts about energy work being a good way to release blockages of energy that can be keeping us at a low level vibration regardless of what we are doing or how hard we are trying to raise our vibrations up.
One of the manifestation coaches I see online often talks about "counter manifesting". Since we are energy and energy is always working we can be manifesting things we don't want simply because of limiting beliefs, previous experiences and negative thoughts we have picked up in our lives.
As energy healing and work is a relatively new thing in the western world I understand there is a large amount of skepticism around it and how it can actually work.
Energy and our intentions on what happens to it can do incredible things. Things we see demonstrated in other ways outside of energy work.
While not examples of manifestation necessarily there are tons of examples of humans who challenge our beliefs of what is possible and "allowed" by performing things that appear to be super human feats. Do they subconsciously "manifest" these abilities in some way?
Take Wim Hof, also known as “Iceman”. Hof has submerged himself in ice for record amounts of time without losing any body heat. He is said to have controlled his body temperature using meditation and other techniques. He attempted to climb Everest in his shorts (and only failed due to foot injury), he ran a marathon in the desert with no water and also proved in lab conditions that he can influence his own immune and nervous systems in various different ways.
We've all heard the story of a mother who saw her son trapped under a car and lifted the vehicle a foot off the ground long enough for him to escape in order to save her child. There is some science to back it up this particular scenario called "hysterical strength," . Human muscle tendons have a physiological component called a golgi tendon organ which purpose is to inhibit the muscles from producing too much contractile force that could lead to tissue damage. It is believed that in such cases of hysterical strength like these the brain can actually override the golgi organ allowing a person to exceed their typical strength threshold.
A New Zealander, Dave Mullins has broken records for swimming. Mullins broke his own record when he swam underwater for 4 minutes 2 seconds, swimming a total distance of 244 meters with a single breath. He's also one of only 5 people who've been able to dive to extreme record depths with no equipment.
Stephen Wiltshire is able to draw entire cities from memory after seeing them only once. He is famous for once drawing a 19-feet long drawing of New York City after seeing it once in a 20-minute helicopter ride.
A Japanese Laido master Isao Machii holds a number of Guiness World Records for his freakish sword skills.
It is said that Machii possesses sensory ‘superpowers’ -a statement many have made after watching a video where he is seen slicing a speeding BB bullet in half when it is shot at him.
As a child, Daniel Kish lost both of his eyes to Retinal Cancer by the incredibly young age of 13 months. He began to make clicking sounds with his mouth and actually ended up teaching himself to navigate his surroundings through echolocation a "super" sense most often attributed to bats and dolphins.
These days Kish can actually do anything pretty well that a sighted person can and claims that his ‘sense’ is even better due to the fact that he can ‘see’ through walls, and has 360 degree vision. He now teaches blind children to echolocate.
Dean Karnazes' body does not exhibit signs of physical exhaustion. Ever!
An ultramarathon runner, he once ran for 350 consecutive miles, without sleep for 3 days straight.
And you thought Forest Gump did well!
He is recorded as having run 50 marathons, in all 50 US States, in 50 consecutive days, finishing with the New York Marathon. A run which he completed in 3 hours flat. Scientists have concluded that he could literally run until he died of old age.
Certain monks of Tibet are able to raise their body temperature without moving a muscle. Through meditation alone, the monks can raise the temperature of their skin by 8 degrees, while their core temperature remains the same. By slowing the blood flow to the brain they provide it with less oxygen, thus allowing them to weather all kinds of intense atmospheric conditions. They were put to the test in the Himilayas, where they had to sleep on a snowy ledge for the night where temperatures dropped to -17 degrees celsius. Not only did they not freeze to death, but they did not even shiver in their light clothing.
In 1983, Slavisa Pajkic set his first world record when he withstood 20,000 volts of electricity without experiencing any damage to his physical body. Any other human being would most likely be seriously injured if they were exposed to a mere 50 volts.
Pajkic, can withstand enormous bouts of electricity entering his body without any pain or injury.
In a shocking stunt, Zhao Rui a shaolin monk held a power drill against his temple without breaking the skin for 10 seconds. Rui has trained himself to withstand dangerously sharp objects. He has performed other incredible things including bending an iron bar against his throat as well as lying upon sharpened metal spikes while breaking stones with his head.
Other "superpowers" can often heighten certain senses to an abnormally high degree. Synesthesia for example, something common in many artists and musicians, is a phenomenon where experiencing one sense leads to experiencing another at the same time. Some examples are things like people who see letters as a certain color.
Many people with synesthesia also have chromesthesia, which enables them to see sound as color.
Occasionally I will get this and you might too. Occasionally when I'm exposed to a certain type or intensity of sound I will see a sharp flash of a color or pattern. It's a very strange feeling when it doesn't happen regularly but every now and again it "pops" up.
These are simply a few of the most impressive and interesting examples of the power of energy.
Since you are energy, and you are - you are an energetic being who might or might not believe in things like manifestation and people's abilities to perform super human feats which science has proven to be true.
But just think for a moment at how much potential you have.
Think about what incredible things you could or would want to do if you could in fact harness, manipulate and control the energy around you on a daily basis.
Changing how we think about ourselves can be one of the hardest things to do but in the end it can be that change of thought that allows us to live our greatest lives.
It's those who believe and allow that belief to shape their minds and ideas that are able to demonstrate just how limitless humans really can be.
Why not allow yourself to believe in possibilities, to entertain thoughts of endless power, and to permit yourself to abandon traditional "reasonings" you've been taught? and see what lies on the other side because you just might be surprised at what you find.
You my dear are energy!
You are limitless!
